BNP Paribas is a premium global banking and financial services brand operating in 72 countries. The brand was formed when BNP and Paribas merged in 1966, but parts of the business go back almost 200 years. Following the global financial crisis in 2007/8 it bought several other banks, including Fortis in Belgium, BNL in Italy, and TEB in Turkey.
