BRAND INDIA: Top 10 Indicators

 

 

India ranks moderately

in influential attributes

 

BAV analysis of 65 brand attributes across 80 countries revealed the Top 10 Indicators that influence business decision makers to select the countries with which they want to conduct business.

 

The No. 1 indicator is, A Place I Would Live. India ranks No 62 in that attribute, and China ranks No 70. In the second indicator, Well-Developed Infrastructure, India ranks No. 50 and China ranks No. 21.

 

Neither India nor China rank high overall, achieving an average rank of No. 35 and No. 25 (rounding the results) in the Top 10 Indicators. To put those average ranks in perspective, the leading two countries in the Best Countries 2017 overall, Switzerland and Canada, achieve an average rank of No. 10 and No. 8 in the Top 10 Indicators.
