Evian mineral water, sourced from the Alps near the town of Evian-les-Bains, is a global brand long associated with purity and health. New products in its range include Evian-infused Kusmi tea, which comes in several flavors, as well as bottles with limited-edition Disney-themed packaging, a Paris collection, and a line devised by the blogger and influencer Chiara Ferragni. The brand coined its strapline “Live Young” in 2009 and has consistently used this theme throughout its marketing and initiatives. Sustainability has also become a key focus for Evian: in 2019, it launched the (Re)New initiative for saving water, which included a smart water appliance to reduce the use of plastic. The in-home natural mineral water device is the latest move from Evian in its journey “to become a circular brand by 2025 and build on the brand’s ambition to be carbon neutral by 2020.” In spring 2019, Evian launched a New York pop-up to celebrate the initiative and has also collaborated with superstar designer Virgil Abloh on a new luxury refillable glass water bottle, the Soma.
