Givenchy is a historic high-end Parisian fashion house with a daring style much loved by celebrities. It operates around 50 stores worldwide. Clare Waight Keller, the brand’s first ever female Artistic Director, is famous for custom-designing the wedding gown worn by royal bride HRH the Duchess of Sussex in 2018. Givenchy’s most recent signature accessory from its pre-fall 2019 collection, the Mystic bag is inspired by the brand’s new haute couture silhouettes. Its signature logo belts have also been worn by celebrities including the Duchess of Sussex. Many exclusive French brands are ramping up their sportswear collections to capture a younger generation of luxury consumers, and this year Givenchy unveiled a surprise exclusive collaboration with cult Japanese sneaker manufacturer Onitsuka Tuger at Pitti Uomo’s 2019 edition. The collection combines haute couture know-how with Japanese leatherworking techniques, and is said by the house to be a long-term collaboration. Givenchy also recently revealed its new face—pop singer and Gen Z influencer Ariana Grande.
