Garuda Indonesia is the national airline of Indonesia, a premium, full-service carrier serving more than 60 domestic and international destinations, with around 500 daily flights and a fleet of 187 aircraft. In the past year, Garuda has taken delivery of a new fleet of Boeing B777-300 aircraft and has launched new domestic and international routes, including Denpasar to Guangzhou, to capture a greater share of the growing Chinese travel market. It has also announced a partnership with Tourism Australia.
 
The airline launched a new communications campaign in 2015 with the tagline ‘Look Forward’, focusing on the value of a global outlook and the experience of seeing the world. With this campaign it has boosted its digital efforts and has launched new ways customers can interact with the brand online. It has also partnered with Telkom Indonesia and Indomaret to allow travellers to make and amend bookings remotely. In the air, Garuda has launched ‘Super Diamond’ premium service in business class and has been collaborating with well-known chefs on what they describe as ‘five-star sky dining’.
