Lifebuoy provides affordable health, hygiene and protection against germs, with a range of soap, shampoo and other cleansing products aimed at families. During Ramadhan 2018, the brand launched a new variant, Lifebuoy Kasturi Musk, offering the same germ protection as the original range, but with a new fragrance. Kasturi Musk was launched with endorsement from new Lifebuoy brand ambassador Alyssa Soebandono, an Indonesian actress, singer and TV presenter. Lifebuoy has a mission to promote good hygiene, especially the importance of handwashing, across Indonesia. To celebrate Global Handwashing Day 2018, the brand started the “Gabung Aksi Indonesia Merdeka dari Kuman” (Join “Indonesia Free from Germs” Movement), a campaign encouraging people, especially children, to wash their hands using handwash to avoid transmitting germs.
