Tokopedia is an online marketplace linking thousands of local merchants with online shoppers. The business is growing rapidly, and is tipped to become a “decacorn” (with a value of US$10 billion) within the next two years. Investors include Softbank and Alibaba, which in 2018 invested US$1.1 billion in Tokopedia.
